Here we have a real trailer for the upcoming Marvel movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
It's directed by Gavin Hood, the man who directed the winner for Best Foreign Language Film of the Year, Tsotsi, a movie I enjoyed very much.
And then we have the screenplay writer of Troy, David Benioff, working with Stan Lee to create what we can only hope is a convincing story.
Based on the trailer, I can only assume that this will definitely mend some bitter wounds I received from the traumatizing X-Men 3. The Last Stand. What a totally appropriate title for such a disappointment of a movie. They should have titled the movie "The Last Straw". I remember writing a huge review bashing on this movie. Marvel movies were getting better and then they hit a slump a few years ago. But now I can comfortably say that Marvel has finally understood and learned from their unforgivable mistakes, hopefully.
Wolverine always deserved his own movie. I'm really curious on how they are going to integrate Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Gambit (Some guy from the Friday Night Lights tv series) in a way that won't end up being totally gay.
